Man Came to Our Hotel with a New Mistress Each Week — When He Showed Up with His Wife, We Gave Him a Memorable Lesson

Being a hotel manager means encountering all sorts of guests, but nothing could have prepared me for Matias. He was a regular with a different woman each week until he brought his unsuspecting wife. At that point, I knew I had to teach him a lesson he’d never forget.

Hey, everyone. I’m Leslie, and I’ve got a wild story to share. I’ve been a hotel manager for years now, and let me tell you, I’ve seen it all.

But this? This takes the cake.

My job’s usually pretty great. I love the hustle and bustle, meeting new people, and making sure everyone has a fantastic stay.

But a few months ago, something happened that turned my world upside down.

It all started on a busy Friday evening. I was at the front desk when this guy walked in. Tall, handsome, with dark hair and a well-groomed beard.

He was wearing a tailored suit that probably cost more than my monthly rent.

And on his arm? A stunning woman in a sparkly dress that left little to the imagination.

As I helped them check in, I noticed his driver’s license. Matias. That’s all I’m gonna say about his name, for privacy reasons, you know?

“Enjoy your stay, Mr. Matias,” I said with my best customer service smile.

“Oh, we will,” he replied with a wink that made me feel a bit uneasy.

I didn’t think much of it at first. Just another couple enjoying a night out, right?

Wrong.

The following week, guess who shows up again? Matias. But this time, with a different woman. She was just as glammed up as the first one, but definitely not the same person.

This became a pattern.

Every week, sometimes multiple times a week, Matias would strut in with a new woman on his arm.

After about a month of this, my coworker Sarah couldn’t hold it in anymore.

“Leslie, have you noticed that guy? The one who’s always here with a different woman?”

I nodded.

“Yeah, it’s… weird, right?”

“Weird? It’s scandalous!” Sarah exclaimed. “What do you think his deal is?”

“Maybe he’s just enjoying the single life?”

But deep down, we all had our suspicions.

Then, out of nowhere, Matias disappeared for a week. No show, no calls, nothing.

“Maybe he found true love,” joked Tom, our bellhop.

“Or maybe one of his dates turned out to be a serial killer,” Sarah quipped back.

We all laughed, but there was an underlying tension.

Something felt off.

A week later, Matias returned. But this time, things were different.

The woman with him looked nothing like his usual type. She wore simple jeans and a T-shirt. No glam, no sparkle.

Sarah and I exchanged glances. What was going on?

Then, I stepped forward to greet them.

“Welcome, Mr. Matias. How can we help you today?”

The woman smiled warmly.

“Hi, I’m Paige. We’d like a room for two nights, please.”

As I processed their check-in, I asked for their IDs.

My eyes widened when I saw their last names. They matched. They were married.

Just then, Paige turned to Matias.

“I love you, honey. Sorry if I’m a bit much sometimes.”

Matias replied, “It’s okay, just try to trust me more.”

I wanted to slap him right then and there. The audacity of this man!

After they left for their room, I turned to Sarah and Tom.

“Guys, you won’t believe this. They’re married!”

Sarah gasped. “No way! You mean all those other women…”

I nodded grimly.

“Yep. He’s been cheating on her. Right here, in our hotel.”

“That scumbag!” Tom growled. “How can he do that to her? She seems so nice!”

“We have to do something,” Sarah insisted. “We can’t let him get away with this!”

I agreed, but we had a problem.

“We can’t expose him directly. It’s against hotel policy to disclose guest information.”

We couldn’t inform Paige just like that because Matias could sue us for invading his privacy and breaking the rules. Instead, we came up with another plan.

“What if I pretend to be another guest? I could approach him, see if he takes the bait.”

Sarah and Tom looked skeptical but intrigued.

“Are you sure about this, Leslie?” Sarah asked.

“Someone needs to teach this guy a lesson,” I said. “I’m sure I can handle this.”

Trying to trap a man by pretending to be someone else sounded like a very easy and exciting task, but it wasn’t. Now that I think about it, I can’t believe I instantly volunteered to be a part of the plan.

I should have thought about it.

Anyway, I put our plan into action the following day.

I wore a wig, changed my makeup, and even practiced a slight accent. When I spotted Matias entering the hotel restaurant alone, I knew it was time.

My heart pounded as I approached his table.

“Excuse me,” I said in my fake accent, “I couldn’t help but notice you. Here’s my number if you’d like to get together sometime.”

I slid him a note and walked away, praying he’d take the bait.

Ten minutes later, my phone buzzed. It was a text message from Matias.

“Hello. We can meet at the hotel tomorrow at two o’clock in the afternoon.”

I replied with a simple “Agreed!” but inside, I was a bundle of nerves.

What had I gotten myself into?

The next morning, as Matias and Paige were checking out, Sarah approached Paige while Matias was busy at the counter.

“Excuse me, ma’am,” Sarah said quietly. “I hate to be the one to tell you this, but… your husband is cheating on you.”

Paige seemed like the one who’d never believe her husband was a cheater. It was almost impossible for her to think that he could sleep with another woman.

“What? No, that can’t be true.”

“If you want proof, come back here at 2 p.m. today,” Sarah said. “I’m serious. Please think about it.”

Paige hesitated, then nodded.

“I… I don’t believe it, but I’ll be here.”

A few minutes later, Matias left the hotel with his loving wife, unaware of what Sarah had told her.

Now, all we knew was that Matias would return to the hotel. But we weren’t sure if Paige would show up.

As expected, we saw Matias enter the hotel at 2 p.m. sharp. I must say, the man was quite punctual.

I met him at the entrance, still in my disguise.

“Hello, beautiful,” he said as he wrapped an arm around my waist. “I’m Matias.”

“Nice to meet you, Matias. I’m Stella,” I replied. “Shall we?”

I could feel a lump in my throat as we rode the elevator to the room.

Was Paige really going to show up? I thought. What if she didn’t?

In the room, Matias us some drinks. I sipped mine slowly. At that point, all I wanted was to Sarah and Paige to enter the room.

Where were they?

Just as Matias started unbuttoning his shirt, the door burst open. Paige stood there with Sarah right behind her.

“What the hell is this?” Paige screamed.

“Paige! I… I…” Matias stammered. “This isn’t what it looks like!”

“Really?” Paige spat. “Because it looks like you’re about to cheat on me. Again!”

I stood up and removed my wig.

“Actually, Matias, I’m Leslie. I work here at the hotel.”

The color drained from his face as he realized he’d been set up.

“How could you?” Paige yelled at him “I trusted you! All those business trips, all those late nights at work… How long has this been going on?”

Matias tried to reach for her, but she backed away.

“Paige, please, let me explain…”

“Explain what?” she shouted. “How you’ve been bringing different women here every week? How you’ve made a fool of me? I don’t want to hear it!”

Then, she stormed out of the room. Sarah and I followed, leaving Matias alone with his shame.

We met Paige in the lobby.

“Thank you,” she said softly. “I… I needed to know the truth. I’m going to file for divorce.”

“We’re so sorry for this,” I said. “But we had to… you know. I hope things turn out to be fine for you.”

She smiled, nodded, and then left the hotel. A few moments later, we saw Matias exit the hotel with his gaze fixed on the ground. He couldn’t face any of us.

That was the last time we saw him.

You know, working in a hotel, you see all kinds of people and stories. But this one? This one I’ll never forget.

It taught me that sometimes, the most unexpected moments can lead to the most important actions. And that standing up for what’s right, even when it’s hard, is always worth it.

So, that’s my story. Have you ever had to make a tough choice between following the rules and doing what you felt was right? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
